We know there is a white winter snow in Raleigh and we can appreciate the cold. But we are in the midst of a winter storm here in the Bahamas also. It will get down to 68 degrees tomorrow and the water temperature is down to the mid 70s. Today (Tuesday) is our first time off the boat in 3 days - we could not miss happy hour at Scorpios. We got the oven working today and started putting up guide rods for new drapes. Then we noticed the Bahamaian Defense Forces coming around checking boats. Then were spending about 15 min per boat but never got to us. We later found out they were looking for Cubans which made no sense but this is the Bahamas. The wind is still still storm out of the NE but should moderate tomorrow and I think we are ready to move south.
Almost a full moon last night so when the clouds cleared, I got a couple of pictures around midnight.
Colors were quite unusual.
Wednesday. Still blowing and rain on and off so we are staying put another day. Tomorrow looks much better.
